This is a repository for my thoughts and views on a variety of topics, notably politics and current events. It is written in the style of half-journal entry, half-letter to a skeptical Conservative pal.
There is vitriol and name-calling in today's political discussions. There is less willingness to listen to each other when there are differences. I have strong opinions about certain political topics, and may express hostility to certain public figures, but I will attempt always to direct criticism at the political machines and their operators before turning disdain toward the public.
When I'm not writing about politics, I may reflect on personal computing and technology.
